Pythia was the ancient Greek oracle of Delphi, renowned for her insights and foresights delivered through prophecies from Apollo. Our Pythia aims to provide the same deep insights into the vast and intricate world of data, enabling users to uncover actionable intelligence from data. Decentralized analytics is an extremely powerful concept and it would enable truly impactful innovation around the world.

Pythia offers two primary services: Pythia X and Pythia Pro.

Pythia X is a revolutionary open-source chatbot-style data and insights exploration framework, which is able to search and manipulate data, run real-time queries, and generate insights and visualize data, providing users with an unparalleled experience in data exploration. Users write queries in natural language that get translated into equivalent SQL code by an AI backend, which is then executed on the database, and the results are streamed back either in text or visual format. As a few examples, ‘What is the current Ethereum Block number?’ ‘What is the average trade price on Coinbase over the past hour?’ and ‘Show me the most recent 100 Ethereum transactions involving at least 10 Ether.’

While Pythia X is currently a proof of concept, it represents a broader overall vision of streamlining how users can access data and create data products. Imagine the near future (Pythia X v2) where users could quickly generate comprehensive data-related queries and build data products, visualize data in interactive charts, that could be refreshed with new, validated data as the conditions changed. While ChatGPT is a language model specializing in natural language understanding and conversation, Pythia X is designed for querying, visualizing, and analyzing data, incorporating features like dynamic chart rendering and natural language querying.

In the coming improved versions of Pythia X, there will be a more visually engaging and user-friendly design, facilitating effortless interactions with dynamic visualizations and charts. With its dynamic chart rendering, users can transform raw data into interactive visualizations, gaining insights at a glance. The platform’s natural language querying system makes data exploration accessible to all, allowing users to effortlessly pose questions and receive actionable insights. Interactive visualizations and auto-suggest smart actions (download the raw data, share the chart) further enhance the experience, interactive process, providing a truly intuitive experience.

Pythia X also comes with Web3 authentication, safeguarding user identities without compromising privacy. Under user management, users are able to see historical queries and visualize all charts generated. With features like collaborative workspaces and seamless integration of decentralized insights, Pythia X is redefining how individuals interact with and derive value from Web3 data.

Pythia Pro, a cutting-edge open-source business intelligence and data product development platform. It’s forked from the renowned Apache Superset, a well-established tool celebrated for its robust community-driven features, offering a plethora of visualization tools designed for effective data display and interaction. Pythia Pro allows anyone to design, build, visualize, and deploy powerful data products. Users can craft data products (queries) and merge them to create dashboards, tailored for specific industries or business use cases. Charts and their underlying data can be downloaded or shared for free. Users can assign their queries, data products, and dashboards to their web3 wallet. You have the option to keep your data products private or publish them for the public, allowing other users to replicate and utilize.

When you provision your Xnode and install Pythia Pro and Pythia X into your server, that Pythia belongs to you. You can pull data from the Openmesh network to Pythia engine and run analytics and build data products locally or on the public Pythia network. Pythia will enable decentralized analytics, which is quite powerful.

    There are several use cases

    • A student can build a dashboard to analyze the correlation between weather and flu outbreaks and submit raw data and share the insights as part of the science project.
    • A data scientist can build a query and a data product that can update every 5 seconds and set to download data into your laptop every 30 minutes.
    • Financial forensic officers can track a wallet and investigate what happened to the stolen crypto.
    • A DeFi team can build a private dashboard to understand how their DEX is performing
    • Blockchain game users can create dashboards to display the highest play-to-earn NFTs.

Pythia can bring data driven product development, business decision making into many industries. Especially in web3, we are still yet to discover the power of data-driven web3 building.
